NBPTS and National Board Certified Teachers (NBCTs) are proud to work with universities and institutions of higher education as they equip tomorrow's teachers with the skills they need to prepare their students for a global marketplace. National Board Certification can be an important component to university teaching programs and we encourage universities to work with our candidates and/or National Board Certified Teachers.

Many universities have worked with the NBPTS to establish candidate support programs to serve the teachers in their local community who are undertaking National Board Certification.
