New Hampshire Candidate Financial Support

New Hampshire is pleased to announce that funding is available to help offset the cost of the assessment fee. This funding is made possible through a Federal Subsidy grant from the United States Department of Education. Please read the information below for specific details, deadlines and contact information.

Funding Available

Funding Available - First-Time Candidates Federal Funding
The New Hampshire Department of Education will utilize NBPTS Candidate Subsidy funds to support up to 10 candidates. Candidates are responsible for submitting the unsubsidized portion of the fee with their application. Candidates will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis through the state's five Regional Field Service Teams. Candidates must meet NBPTS eligibility guidelines. Teachers interested in using candidate subsidy funds to help with the fee MUST submit a copy of their National Board Certification application through the program administrator.

Deadline to apply: December 1, 2008.
