Dan Bartsch is a newly renewed NBCT who works at Billings Senior High School in Billings, Montana. Dan earned his National Board Certification in 2007 and renewed in 2017. In 2013, Dan was awarded the Presidential Award for Excellence in Science and Math Teaching for the state of Montana. Dan has taught health and physical education, Biology, AP Biology, sports medicine, as well as having served as a guidance counselor. Dan currently teaches Human Anatomy and Physiology and has a master's degree in education.

I just finished my 25th year of teaching. As this year wound down, I found myself reflecting on my career and how much the students, the world, and I have changed since the early nineties. As a kid, I never imagined I’d be a teacher, much less that I would stay in any profession for 25 years.
